The first leg of the Foal Championships kicked off in JAG equestrian on 14th August. Judging for the day were Jack Doyle and Nicola Ennis. The day began with the pony classes. The first foals into the ring were the Pony Eventing foals. The winner of this class was Sacha Maxwells Connemara colt Sruth Bhearchin Rebus (CP), out of Gleann Mr Mary Ellen (CP), by Safin (CP), damsire Gwennic de Goariva (CP).
