Top 10-ranked OConnor leads way as magnificent seven Irish riders make worlds top 50
Irish show jumping is currently riding the crest of a wave, and the latest FEI Longines Jumping Rankings mark another milestone in the career of Cian OConnor. Olympic medal-winner OConnor reached the worlds top 10 for the first time in his illustrious career as the latest rankings were published, leading an incredible seven Irish riders inside the worlds top 50. Indeed, five Irish riders sit inside the worlds top 20 OConnor in tenth, Daniel Coyle in 14th, Conor Swail in 16th, Shane Sweetnam in 17th and Daragh Kenny in 20th. Denis Lynch is also highly ranked, in 26th, with Mikey Pender placed number 45, making up the magnificent seven.
