Following the FEI Bidding Update sent on 4 March 2026, the FEI has announced that the Expression of Interest phase for the FEI World Championships 2030 is opening today. Expressions of Interest must be sent to the email address bidding@fei.org until Friday, 11 December 2026 at the latest. A table indicating the key dates of the bidding process of the FEI World Championships 2030 is provided below.Submitting an Expression of Interest does not oblige the Organising Committees (OC)/potential bidding entity and/or National Federations (NF) to submit a formal bid during the subsequent bidding process phase. The Expression of Interest phase is, however, mandatory, which means that only those bids from OCs/potential bidding entities and/or NFs who have previously submitted an Expression of Interest, will be eligible to submit a formal bid during the bidding phase.As was the case with the FEI World Championships 2022 and 2026:While bids for multiple disciplines are preferable, bids for one single discipline will also be considered;Ideally, the FEI would like to see FEI World Championships for Dressage and Para Dressage combined;Bids to host all seven FEI disciplines in 2030 as FEI World Equestrian Games will be considered.The FEI strongly encourages all potential bidders to liaise with their respective National Federation prior to submitting an Expression of Interest. For the avoidance of doubt, the FEI will inform a National Federation if an Expression of Interest is received from an Organiser/potential bidder in their country.For the sake of simplicity and better convenience, a short form indicating the information that will need to be provided when sending the EoI can be downloaded here. It is not mandatory to use the form to submit an Expression of Interest but all Expression of Interests should, at least, include the information requested in the form. FEI World Championships 2030 bidding process timeline*These dates are tentative and subject to change. Confirmed dates will be communicated upon the launch of the formal bidding process in early 2027.FEI Championships 2029The FEI also like to reminds OCs and NFs that the bidding process for the different FEI Championships in 2029 is currently open. The deadline to submit bids for these Championships is 30 November 2026. All bidding documents are available on the FEI Bidding Platform. Please note that a specific bid process for the FEI European Championships for Seniors 2029 will be opened in 2027.
