Horse Sport Ireland High Performance Jumping Manager Jessica Krten has named her team for the Longines League of Nations Final in Barcelona, Spain, with Ireland set to line out among the worlds leading nations on Sunday October 4th.Trevor Breen, Denis Lynch, Cian OConnor and Billy Twomey have been selected to represent Ireland at the prestigious final, with Jason Foley named as travelling reserve.The Irish team, listed in alphabetical order, will see Trevor Breen partner with Highland President, Denis Lynch with Vistagrand, Cian OConnor with Chatolinue PS and Billy Twomey with Ace Of Hearts Z. Foley will act as the fifth member of the squad with Cute Face.Ireland secured its place in the eight-team final following a strong qualifying campaign across the four legs of the 2026 series, finishing fifth overall in the standings with 265 points.The team opened its campaign with a fifth-place finish at the season-opening leg in Abu Dhabi, UAE, before producing an outstanding performance in Ocala, USA, where the team finished second to collect 90 league points.The Irish continued its campaign in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where it finished sixth, before concluding the qualifying series at St Tropez-Gassin in France, securing the points required to finish fifth overall in the league standings.The final standings were topped by France on 290 points, ahead of Germany and Great Britain, who finished joint second on 275 points.
