2026 Filly Loose Jumping Championship
Horse Sport Ireland are delighted to announce the launch of the 2026 Filly Loose Jumping Championship. Loose Jumping is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine, under National Breeding Services, and delivered by Horse Sport Ireland. As in 2025, many of the qualifiers will run in conjunction with the qualifiers of the Foal Championship. There will be 3 provincial qualifiers for the Loose Jumping Championship, plus one standalone event for pony fillies.In a change for 2026, the horse competition will only be open to Three-Year-Old fillies, who will enter in either the showjumping or eventing section for 3YO. At each qualifier for horses, the top two highest scoring 3-Year-Old fillies from the eventing and showjumping HORSE categories will be selected for the final. The final of the 3YO Filly Loose Jumping will take place on 15th October, at Emerald EC.A standalone event for 3 & 4 YO Pony Filly Loose Jumping will take place at Glenamaddy EC on 10th September. At the pony event, and at each horse qualifier/ final, there will be prize money for competitors and breeders.
