Irelands senior jumpers are in action on the double next week across the globe, with Jessica Kurten naming her teams to compete on two fronts.On Friday in Rome the team are in five star Nations Cup action at Piazza Di Sienna and, two days later, a quartet will jump in the four star Nations Cup at Langley, Vancouver, Canada.For the Rome assignment, Horse Sport Ireland High Performance Jumping Manager Kurten names Jordan Coyle, Denis Lynch, Cian OConnor and Tom Wachman.Coyle will partner Chaccolino, Lynch jumps on Vistogrand, OConnor combines with Ullyses and Wachman on Tabasco De Toxandria Z as Ireland bids to regain the trophy won in 2023.Horse Sport Ireland High Performance Jumping Manager, Kurten, is looking forward to what is sure to be an exciting weekend for her squad.She said: Next weekend, we have two teams out competing one in Rome and one in Vancouver. With just three months to go now, the countdown is on and like every nation, were building towards the World Championships in Aachen. That countdown will be in every top show jumpers mind. For others, its about getting as much experience as they can in team environments.In Langley, a North American-based team of four has been selected as ireland bids to go back-to-back in the Vancouver venue, with James Chawke being joined in the team by Dylan Daly, Lorcan Gallagher and Conor Swail, who was part of the team who won here last year.Chawke competes with Daido vant Ruyteeshof, Daly with Cinderella Z, Gallagher partners Copycat and Swail Clonfert Obolensky for the four star heat.Kurten added: The team heading to Vancouver will be full of confidence and hoping to put themselves in contention for a strong result.Conor Swail is selected and was part of the Irish team when they won last year.
