The Longines Global Champions Tour - Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping, an unmissable event where sport, culture and emotion meet, is proud to announce that internationally renowned artist and musician, Keziah Jones, has imagined and produced the official poster for its 11th edition.

A LINE-UP THAT COMBINES THE RHYTHM AND ELEGANCE OF JUMPING

Keziah Jones captures the essence of show jumping in a work where horse, Eiffel Tower and energy blend boldly and powerfully. Set against a vibrant blue background, the poster features a stallion at the foot of Paris's most famous monument, in the colors of the French flag. A unique way of uniting the equestrian heritage and vitality of Paris, the city where the artist began his career in its bowels before conquering the international scene.

Keziah Jones explains that “Movement is essential in my work, both in music and drawing. With this poster, I wanted to translate the dynamics of the jump, the momentum of the horse, and also the energy of Paris, which pulses like a musical score.”

KEZIAH JONES: ART, MUSIC AND COMPETITION COME TOGETHER

A musician and visual artist, Keziah Jones has always played with shapes and rhythms, whether through his musical compositions or his graphic universe. His art, influenced by pop culture, Yoruba heritage and an instinctive approach to drawing, finds its place at the heart of Longines Global Champions Tour - Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping, where tradition and modernity also intertwine.

“When I draw, I feel a similar process to that of music. There's a kind of visual composition, a fluidity that recalls guitar improvisation. These lines that result from my inspiration, are like a kind of visual representation of my music, they follow the same breath.” -Keziah Jones

Keziah Jones adds, “I don't see much difference in what I do. Between singing, drawing or stretching and meditating, there's a harmony that helps me to live well. I find this in the horse, which has a rhythm, a cadence. This ensemble inspired me to create this poster, as well as for an artistic performance I'll be putting on during Jumping.”

A PERSONAL CONNECTION TO THE EQUESTRIAN WORLD

The encounter between Keziah Jones and the Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping may come as a surprise, but it takes on its full meaning in the artist's career. His work is permeated by a quest for freedom and movement, values that fully resonate with the equestrian universe.

“I didn't grow up around horses,” says the artist, ”but ever since I saw my father on his horse as a child, I've always been fascinated by their grace, sensitivity and elegance. They have this natural nobility, a presence that commands respect.”

Enthusiastically accepting Virginie Coupérie-Eiffel's proposal, Keziah Jones saw the project as a new opportunity for artistic exploration: “The Eiffel Tower has so many beautiful flowing lines that it was a pleasure to represent it in my own way.”
