Kentucky Horse Tests Positive for WNV
On October 29, a 7-year-old Quarter Horse gelding in Graves County, Kentucky, tested positive for West Nile virus (WNV). The horse, who is unvaccinated, developed clinical signs on October 20, including stumbling and muscle fasciculations. He is currently affected and alive.
