Four horses killed in vehicle crash that leaves female passenger dead
Police are appealing for more information after a woman and four horses were killed as a result of a crash in the middle of the night between a car and van in Scotland. The accident happened near the village of Howwood in Renfrewshire at 3.10am on Monday 23 September.A Mercedes A-class car and a MAN box van collided on the A737, leaving a passenger in the car, a 59-year-old woman, dead.The driver of the car, a 52-year-old male, another passenger, a 33-year-old male, and the driver of the van, a 59-year-old male, were all taken to hospital for treatment.Four horses died after being struck by the vehicles while the remaining two were led to safety.
