New app creates virtual shopping village experience for horse enthusiasts
A mobile app containing a growing collection of independent equestrian retailers has been launched to provide horse enthusiasts with a new shopping experience.EquiMall is a virtual equestrian shopping village which has been designed to replicate the experience you would have exploring the trade stands at major events like Badminton or Burghley.Equestrian retailers like Repost Equestrian, Shorefields Supplies and eGlove can all be found in one place in the app, allowing shoppers to easily switch between individual stores without having to download new apps, look through websites or search online.Recreate a sense of discoverySome of the best equestrian shopping experiences happen at major events. You wander around the shopping village, visit retailers you already know and inevitably discover one or two you havent come across before, said an EquiMall spokesperson. That was really the thinking behind EquiMall. We wanted to recreate that sense of discovery on a mobile phone, while making sure every retailer remains completely independent. It isnt about turning independent equestrian shops into sellers on another marketplace. Each retailer remains their own shop. Weve simply put the doors to those shops together in one digital shopping village.Additional featuresAlongside the individual retailer stores, EquiMall includes features designed to make discovering products easier. Shoppers can bookmark products, compare items from different retailers and use Smart Search to search across participating stores rather than visiting each website individually.Featured products, new arrivals, seasonal collections and sale lines can also appear in pop-up stalls on the app, creating additional opportunities for shoppers to discover products from retailers they may not have encountered before.Image EquiMall.More from Your HorsePole exercises that make clever, confident horsesFive gears a confident cross-country horse needs to haveConfidence comebacks: I thought I wasnt good enoughFive common problems with a riders jumping position solvedThe post New app creates virtual shopping village experience for horse enthusiasts appeared first on Your Horse.
