Husband and Wife, Leo and Shannon Lorimer
own and operate Newmains Farm Stud. Both share the same dream of producing and competing top quality Sport horses.
Leo started riding ponies very young at his grandfathers riding school, Rowanlea, and had his first big success at the age of 10 when being selected to represent the Scottish showjumping team.
Leo has qualified and successfully competed at shows such as The Horse of the year show , Hickstead and the Royal highland show.
Leo has also had success at international competitions in Spain and Portugal jumping in world ranking classes.
Shannon always loved to be around horses but didn’t start her competitive career until her late teenage years.
Shannon has a great depth of knowledge that she picked up whilst training with international showjumping and dressage riders.
Shannon has Won numerous classes at both national and international shows competing up to 1.30 level.
