The series is delivered by Horse Sport Ireland, and funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food, and the Marine (DAFM) under National Breeding Services. An equal number of horses contested the five-year-old and six-year-old sections with 44 entries a piece. The five-year old horses rose to the occasion with twenty-nine of these young horses producing a double clear round to divide the prize fund. Just over half of the six-year-old entries produced a double clear to also divide the winnings.
