Its been an action packed month for our Redpost Riders this August and we caught up with them to hear all about itChloe ReynoldsStarting the month strong, Chloe and her new ride, Mojito, secured an impressive 3rd place in the Grade C Championship at Chard.At the Bicton area show, Chloe had a standout performance, winning two Redpost rugs with both Mojito and Fantasia, and also clinching victory with her new team member, Contalage.Capping off the month, Chloe competed at the Chepstow 2* International, where she placed 3rd in the 2* 1.30m with Oppi Prince and delivered clear rounds to secure equal 1st place in the Young Horse 6-year-old classes with Caballero.Jake MyersAugust has been a slightly quieter month for Jake Myers, wrapping up with Chepstow International. The highlight of the event was Calcourt Qualvados (Alice) finishing 2nd in the 1.35m class, with all the horses showing consistent form throughout the competition.As summer comes to a close, the focus now shifts to preparing for the upcoming season in Spain this autumn.thanks to @jamrollmedia for the images.Robert MurphyThe month kicked off with a busy schedule at Valkenswaard for Rob Murphy where he was thrilled with the progress of Koblenz. This talented horse delivered a standout performance, clearing and placing in the 4* 1.55m Grand Prix. Hulde G also clinched the victory in the 4* 1.50m with a textbook round. Rob welcomed the arrival of a new member to his team of horses, the 9-year-old Cornet Deluxe. Rob is eagerly looking forward to whats to come with this promising horse. La Cornet Deluxe demonstrated his potential by jumping clear in both the LR and Grand Prix classes at Peelbergen, earning a well-deserved placing. The second half of August brought even more achievements for Robs team. Hulde G continued her impressive run, claiming victory in the 4* 1.50m speed class and second place in the 3* Grand Prix at Lier International. The month wrapped up on a high note at the Brussels 5* 1.50m class , where Hulde G delivered another stellar performance, finishing 5th.thanks to @bossmaremedia for the images.Cameron BeerAugust has been all about getting back into the swing of things for Cameron Beer after a 2-3 week break, which included watching the Olympics in Paris and filming a new series for H&C. The month wrapped up with a successful return to eventing at Wellington, where Camerons horses delivered impressive performances.Bamba shone in the novice class, securing a 27 double clear to finish seconda fantastic run ahead of his first 2* competition in just two weeks.Gatsby also made a strong debut in his first 2* at Wellington, with a beautiful dressage test, an unlucky pole in show jumping, and a clear round in cross-country, placing 16th out of 85 competitors. Without that one pole, he would have finished 4th, which is an impressive result following his recent streak of two 3rds and a win in previous novice events.Beyond his own successes, August was also a rewarding month for Cameron as he watched his clients excel. With various youth championships in full swing, from the 2* U18 BE Champs to the PC Open Champs at Wellington, it was a joy to see the younger generation flourishing. Heres to hoping for a dry and successful September!thanks to @lukeperrettphotography for the images.Harry MeadeAs the countdown to Burghley approaches, Redpost Rider Harry Meade is gearing up for an extraordinary event with an impressive five entries, all fit, sound, and ready to compete. This remarkable achievement reflects years of dedicated work and meticulous preparation from Harry and his team. For those not heading to Burghley, theres an exciting journey planned across the pond to the Maryland 5*, offering a thrilling adventure that is far from a consolation prize.The success of having five horses capable of tackling Burghley is a testament to the relentless effort and expertise of the entire team. The horses have enjoyed a seamless summer of preparatory events and are brimming with confidence. Each horse has received bespoke training, thanks to the immense dedication of Jess, Molly, and the whole home crew, whose hard work behind the scenes has been invaluable.Looking ahead, Harry is also thrilled to advance the next generation of horses to the 4* level. Amiro Island and Cooley Anything You Like both had standout performances at the Hartpury Intermediate Championships, where they tackled an Advanced track and finished 7th and 8th respectively. They will now head to the prestigious 8/9-year-old 4*S at Blenheim in a few weeks.Additionally, the younger horses are thriving, demonstrating remarkable consistency across their performances. The consistency from Harry Meade and his horses has been shown in the British Eventing Stats Centre at the end of August he has the highest number of Show Jumping clears, and the same for Cross Country. This is across all levels of UK events from all riders of all nationalities!Alice WatsonAugust took Alice Watson to Hickstead for the British Young Horse Championships, where she competed with two promising horses.The 4-year-old Pashmina had a stellar performance, securing a clear round and a tie for 1st place in both qualifiers. She continued her success by jumping double clear in the National 4yo Final, finishing tied for 1st and earning a share of both the 4yo and 4yo British Bred Bonus Prizes.Omega V also had a noteworthy showing, finishing tied for 1st in the 5yo qualifier. Although she narrowly missed qualifying for the final, she ended the competition on a high note with a 3rd place in the 5yo consolation class.Both horses will now enjoy a well-deserved break before returning to competition in 2025.Michael TuffAugust has been a productive month behind the scenes for Michael Tuff. Extending their yard at home to accommodate the expanding team. While the competition schedule was lighter this month, the young horses showed great promise at the area show, jumping strong rounds and earning some placings. Michael also welcomed some promising new faces to the team, setting the stage for an exciting future of training and development.Oliver TuffIts been a quieter month for Oliver Tuff, focused on taking the young horses out to gain valuable experience. While competitions have taken a back seat, the priority has been on developing these future stars.Alongside this, Oliver has been actively searching for new team members, including a groom apprentice and a groom. This presents a great opportunity for those eager to learn and grow within a dedicated and dynamic team. As this groundwork is being laid, Oliver and the team are preparing for exciting times ahead.Kirsty ChabertKirsty Chabert has had an impressive start to the month, securing a notable second place at the Noice Championship at Hartpury. With just 0.8 time penalties added after cross-country, she finished on a great score of 28.Later in the month, Kirsty continued her successful run at the Wellington International Horse Trials, where three of her horses finished in the top ten with Global Empress taking first place in the CCI-S 2* finishing on a score of 26.90. Get out there, get your hands dirty, and learn this world on an intrinsic level and in the evenings and in your free time, get so hungry for words that you give yourself over to your bookshelves, so that evocative, expansive, inimitable sentences also become intrinsic. The USEA American Eventing Championships ran this past weekend in Kentucky, with William Colemanand Diabolo taking the Advanced win, Boyd Martin and Commando 3 in 2nd, and Phillip Dutton and Possante finishing in 3rd. Unfortunately, Liz Halliday suffered a fall with Shanroe Cooley that resulted in a head injury requiring surgery. While updates on her condition remain positive, we are keeping Liz and her team in our thoughts, and are sending well wishes for a speedy recovery. In addition to the AECs, the Equestrians Institute, Seneca Valley, and Bucks County had events running as well. Congrats to all of our Weekend Winners on successful outings!
