The Longines Global Champions Tour heads to Stockholm June 28 - 30, 2024 for the ninth stage of the tour this week. The event promises a thrilling line up of classes showcasing some of the best horses and riders in the world vying for victory in the heart of the city at the Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
Eight Swedish riders are ready to face strong international competition at the LGCT of Stockholm. World number one and last year's LGCT Grand Prix winner Henrik von Eckermann will be looking to defend his victory and secure back to back wins on his home turf aboard his star mount King Edward. Peder Fredricson and Wilma Hellström are also among the riders who will try to defend the blue and yellow colors when the five-star show jumping tour comes to Sweden.

Esteemed names such as 2022 LGCT Grand Prix of Stockholm winner Christian Ahlmann, Daniel Deusser, LGCT Grand Prix of Cannes winner Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, Simon Delestre, Maikel van der Vleuten, Sanne Thijssen, Michael Duffy, Richard Howley, Kent Farrington, and Jessica Springsteen as part of the home GCL team Stockholm Hearts powered by H&M We Love Horses all eager to shine in the spotlight.
U25 talent will also be taking center stage in the Swedish capital, featuring the likes of Géraldine Straumann, Jack Whitaker and Leonie Bockmann.
